The Trent University Course Inventory Project (TUCI) was conducted on behalf of the Trent Centre for Community Based Education (TCCBE) during the 2007-2008 academic year to inventory all current and 'on the horizon' courses at Trent, to determine to what extent the community contexts of research, teaching, and learning were addressed within existing university course offerings. The author of this project worked on the TUCI project, as a student researcher to choose and design a research tool.
Historical place names: a case study of three townships in the County of Peterborough
This research project examines three study areas in the Peterborough County, Curve Lake First Nation, and two municipalities of North Kawartha and Galway-Harvey and Cavendish. The main focus of this project was to examine the names of water bodies and some land forms in the three study areas.
Attitudes toward women in conflict with the law: case study of the Peterborough area
This is the final stage of a year-long research project produced for the Elizabeth Fry Society of Peterborough through the Trent University Community-based education program. This report will summarize the main results that can be drawn from a previous set of interviews.
Greening the Festival of Trees
Audits were conducted, and results checked to calculate the amount of material that could have been recycled, reused or composted with a goal of working towards zero-waste generation, or a reduction of waste sent to the landfill.
Art gallery education guide
The purpose of this research project was to interview a Canadian woman artist, and create an education guide for the teachers of grade 5 students coming into the Art Gallery. The appendix is a transcript of the interview with the artist.

The development of a low cost spay/neuter clinic as a means of controlling the animal population within Peterborough, Ontario and surrounding area
The primary purpose of this project was to examine [sic] Peterborough's community views on spaying and neutering within the local area and to examine the current status of [sic] participant's companion animals to see if there is a need for a low cost spay/neuter clinic in Peterborough, Ontario.
