The purpose of this project was to conduct a community needs assessment for the Peterborough Parent-Child Mother Goose Program (PPCMGP). The program offers group experiences in rhyme, song and storytelling to parents and their children (ages birth to twenty-four months), in ten-week sessions.

The purpose of this project was to explore the relationships between a Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) created ratio indicator and the population density of the Grand River watershed to examine [sic] the influence of population density and streamflow variability.

Recreation is a much more important aspect of children's lives- today than previously [sic]. Today's children are not leading the active lives that young people did fifteen or more years ago.

This needs assessment was a collaborative venture undertaken by the Trent Centre for Community-Based Education, the Elizabeth Fry Society of Peterborough, and Trent University. The Trent Centre fosters research and learning opportunities for Trent University students, faculty, and community organizations.

Heritage planning in the Township of Cavan-Monaghan currently lacks momentum. In order to involve the general public, awareness of heritage preservation and assets are essential. To best interest the public, the economical and aesthetical benefits of a good heritage preservation strategy have been deemed a necessity by the current [sic] however small heritage committee of Cavan-Monaghan.

This project was completed for Trent Vegetable Gardens [sic] by Chris Chang-yen Phillips and Corey Ferguson of Trent University (Trent) in cooperation with the Trent Centre for Community-Based Education (TCCBE), as required for The Canadian Food System: A Community Development Approach (ERST 3140) course. Under the supervision of professor Paula Anderson, [sic] Trent, this project's objective was to build on past soil fertility research of the rooftop vegetable garden located above A-wing on the Environmental Science Building of Trent University, [sic] Peterborough, Ontario.
