love it there. The work isn’t hard and there is not night duty but it is an hour and a half from London and Myra won’t think of it.

It would be rather mean to go along for Kit and Pense are friends and a third however congenial is a nuisance.

Don is quite near Moore Barracks, but he says I’d never see him as he is busy from morning till night, so I’m not thinking of that.

I’ll know soon anyway unless I get an extension of leave, which isn’t likely.

Well dearest I must stop and write to Toots.

I am writing by the fire and I can picture you doing the same for it is Sunday evening.
