Mr. T.H.B. Symons
President and Vice-Chancellor
Trent University
Peterborough, Ontario

Dear Mr. Symons:

We feel that a visit to certain significant new buildings in New England universities would be most worthwhile. We are particularly interested in the Ezra Stiles and Samuel Morse colleges by Eero Saarinen, the Rare Book and Manuscript Library by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, the married student housing complex by Paul Rudolph, all of which are at Yale, as well as some of the recent experiments at Harvard. It is suggested that I be accompanied on this trip by Professor Smith and Mr Anderson, and we would appreciate your approval of the project.

Yours sincerely,
