Johannes Hansen

Johannes Hansen was a manufacturing company which executed most of the chair designs of Hans Wegner. Wegner joined the Johannes Hansen company in 1940 and the Hansen store began selling his beautiful Scandinavian-inspired furniture. Some of the Wegner designs were also manufactured by another company, Fritz Hansen, Eft; however, the most successful of all, the 1950 "Chair," was made by the Johannes Hansen company.
