1916 Letter 19
Dear Mother –
I had lunch in town with Geordie the first day of the new food regulations. As you can see it isn’t a very large lunch you get.
Christmas is over and we are all glad. It is such a strain that one has little or no energy left to enjoy one’s [own]. However, the men all say they thoroughly enjoyed the day and that’s the main thing.
Am feeling fine – must right dozens of letters so will let this do for to-day –
