1915 Letter 4

March 2nd, [1915]

Dear Mother,

Just a line to enclose some snaps we had taken on the Zeeland. I’ve tried to mark who some of the people are but can’t mark them all. I’ll send more in a few days.

Nothing much has happened to-day. Miss Elliott and Capt. Walsh and I had tea at the Savoy and took in a movie show having seen everything else in town.

George has gone and I miss him very much, as we put in most of the time together. However, he had a long leave.

I am sure you know far more about what is going on than we do. I go down to the High Commissioner’s Office every day and read the Toronto papers and make believe they aren’t two weeks old. After we leave here if you’d send one occasionally it would be very welcome.

Well I must close now. No mail for anyone today and we are all very much disappointed – but the boats are very irregular.

With ever so much love,

Yours always,

Helen
