A cultural history of Lakefield Lift Lock
The purpose of this project is to document the cultural landscape at the Lakefield Lock Station over the nineteenth and early twentieth century. Local food sourcing feasibility study
The project involved the Festival of Trees and how to "green" it with sustainable practices for the following year. Since the Festival beneficiaries are healthcare organizations, it was even more imperative that they promote and exercise healthy and sustainable practices. The "greening" process began in 2006 with a focus on waste reduction. Monitoring the effects of acid pulse during spring thaw on the water systems of Haliburton Forest
The primary purpose of this project was to measure the extent of acid and polluting pulses during spring thaw in four lakes in the Haliburton Forest, each impacted differently.
