The purpose of this research was to determine if there were any deficiencies in the legal system when interacting with individuals living with intellectual disabilities and if the Peterborough legal community would benefit from support from Community Living Peterborough. Experimental eradication of invasive plant species

Trent Nature Areas are community based recreational areas and members of the community have expressed a concern with the proliferation of Rhamnus cathartica, commonly known as the Common Buckthorn or alias European Buckthorn. The Experience of Peterborough Residents With the Peterborough Renovates Program and the Homeownership Assistance Loan Program

The following research paper investigates the effects of two of Peterborough City
and County’s affordable housing programs: the Peterborough Renovates Program and the Homebuyer Assistance Loan Program. The goal of the research was to determine whether the programs were meeting their objectives, which were, primarily, positively impacting the quality of life of participants. Additional data about how participants heard about the program and whether they understood the terms of their loan were also collected. To determine whether the programs were meeting their goals both a quantitative and qualitative analyses were performed using data from a survey mailed to participants in both programs. The researchers found the programs do have a positive impact on self- reported quality of life of participants.
