The research project centered around Dr. John Hutchison's business ledgers from the 1800's [sic]. Using these original documents an analysis of the doctors income during some of the most comprehensive years will be accomplished. In keeping with Lang Pioneer Village's mission statement of preserving, promoting and authentically recreating the rural history of the Peterborough County, this project has documented the historical connection between the area and the War of 1812.
