Historical place names
This research project examines three study areas in the Peterborough County, Curve Lake First Nation, and two municipalities of North Kawartha and Galway-Harvey and Cavendish. The schoolyard plays an important role in the healthy development of students and is a space that can be used not only for academic learning, but also for fostering a sense of community. Dissecting a doctor's ledgers two centuries later
The research project centered around Dr. John Hutchison's business ledgers from the 1800's [sic]. Using these original documents an analysis of the doctors income during some of the most comprehensive years will be accomplished. The implementation of an Ontario turtle DNA archive at Trent University
Seven of the eight turtle species in Ontario are classified as 'at risk' with two, the spotted and the wood turtle, classified as endangered.
